Info on the upcoming show with members of the Dulwich Art Group. Great night last year and it promises to be another corker! All welcome to come along, and please feel free to pass the invite on to anyone you may know who might like to pop along and see some great art.
Almost time for the Dulwich Open House exhibition, which will be taking place at the Sea Scout Hut here in East Dulwich, same as last year. Great experience last time, and fantastic work all round from members of the group. It will be opening 9th May 2015 .Location: The Old Scout Hut, Greendale, Dulwich SE22 8TX.
Will probably be exhibiting some new smaller things, as they seemed to get sold last time. Larger nudes weren't really massively successful, so more trees and hills!
Some info on a small exhibition I'm taking part in, as mentioned a couple of weeks back. The 'opening' (although it's at a pub, so you can come anytime!) is 7.30pm this Saturday (6th December). I will be putting 3 of my recent drawings up for anyone who wants to pop down. No doubt there will be some very nice work on display from other members of the group, so if you're in the area… It will be up for a couple of weeks, if you can't make it this Saturday. Cheers!

Link to an article in Wall Street International about the Brick Lane show, which opened last night. Good to go and catch up with a load of people I hadn't seen for ages, and to meet all the other artists. On until the 13th April...
Not really updated this for ages, as people seem to be keeping up on Facebook and the like… As well as all the recent life drawing and painting, there are exhibitions coming up at Brick Lane Gallery (1-14 April 2014) and another thing with Dulwich Arts Group, as part of the artist open house thing here in East Dulwich. More info on that soon…
http://www.thebricklanegallery.com Link here to the Brick Lane info. I'll be exhibiting a few things in a group show. Looking forward to that, as it'll be the first major thing for a while.

More info to come, and plenty more art to be loaded up soon!!
Finished a big painting I'd started back in early 2012. I'd added so many layers of paint and plaster dust that the canvas was weighing a tonne! Thought I'd never get round to completing it but knuckled down for a few days and caked loads more paint all over the place until it sort of defeated me... Much to my relief! It's up on the Figurative page now... Here's a detail from it. Must get a better camera or nick one from my boss at work for a weekend!
